Q&A

You (probably) have questions, we (should) have answers. We’ll continue to update the site as we get closer to October 3rd, but below you’ll find answers to some of the more common questions we’ve received so far.

  • Once you've determined how long you'd like to stay, feel free to book your flights whenever you're ready, especially if pricing isn't a concern.

For those seeking the best deals, we recommend booking your flights approximately 3-6 months in advance, ideally between April and August. Flight prices often decrease as the departure date nears, before rising again as seats become limited.

  • Unless you have a good reason, probably not.

If you’re planning on going off the beaten path or helping a larger group get around, it’ll probably be more convenient to take public transit. If you do decide to rent a car, You’ll want to familiarize yourself with the different traffic laws. and consider obtaining an International Driving Permit. Although not mandatory, having one can save you from additional fines if you are pulled over.

  • In Spain, most businesses are happy to accept credit cards, though it's wise to carry some cash for those establishments that operate on a cash-only basis. Additionally, having a bit of cash on hand can be helpful in the unlikely event that your card experiences any issues.

Euros can be conveniently withdrawn from ATMs throughout Spain. However, to benefit from the most favorable exchange rates, consider visiting your local bank before departure. While airports do offer currency exchange services, keep in mind that their rates tend to be higher.

  • Most people in Spain speak at least a little bit of English, especially if they work in service roles. Knowing a little bit of Spanish will be very useful, but you’ll be able to get by just fine without knowing the language.

In larger cities (like Barcelona), most people speak fluent English and you shouldn’t have any problems.

  • Yes children are invited to all events and we are excited to see them!

We’ll also be offering a special kids area during our wedding celebration! Designed to ensure that our younger guests have as much fun as the adults, the kids area will be equipped with engaging activities and entertainment, all under the supervision of professional childcare providers.

While children are more than welcome to join us for any part of the celebration, we hope this dedicated space allows them to enjoy their own festivities while parents fully partake in the day's events. We look forward to celebrating with your entire family!

  • We deeply appreciate the effort and expense you've made to join us in Spain for our special day. Your presence means the world to us, and we truly believe it is the greatest gift we could receive. As such, we kindly ask that you do not feel obliged to bring any gifts. Your support and company are more than enough to make our celebration complete. If you'd like to share your well wishes or a thoughtful card, they would be treasured as part of the cherished memories of our day. Thank you for being part of our memorable journey!
